复活节，也被 称为逾越节或复活周日，是一个庆祝耶稣基督由死复生的节日。据新约记载，公元30年他被 罗马人钉列在加略山的十字架上，下葬后的第三天却得以复活。
Easter,also called Pasch or Resurrection Sunday, is a festival and holiday
celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead ,described in the
New Testament as having occurred on the third day of his burial after his
crucifixion by Romans at Calvary c.30 AD. but he was resurrected on the third
day after his burial.
复活节是基督主义者们徒庆祝的高潮，发生在四旬斋(或太斋戒)之后。而后者是为期四十天的禁令，祈祷和忏悔。
It is the culmination of the Passion of Christ, preceded by Lent(or Great
Lent), a forty-day period of fasting,prayer,and penance.

复活节那天，有许多人会将煮熟的蛋用颜料画上与复活节相关的图案。例如：十字架、钉子、百合花、兔子等等，装饰的五彩缤纷。然后互相交换，提醒耶稣的复活。也有人喜欢玩寻找彩蛋的游戏，大人先将彩蛋藏在花园草丛中，让小朋友们去找。找到彩蛋的人，就要说出蛋上图案的意义。比如说，十字架是耶稣为我们死在十字架上，钉子则是提醒我们耶稣基督被钉子钉在十字架上。

Christianity. It is related to the crucifix (a cross that includes a usually
three-dimensional representation of Jesus' body) and to the more general family
of cross symbols.
复活彩蛋
蛋象征新生命。坚硬的蛋壳无法限制里面正在孕育的新生命。耶稣基督为了我们的罪而钉死在十字架上，葬在坟墓里，但坟墓无法关住他。他第三天复活了，使凡相信他的人，因此而得到新的生命。蛋，便成为复活节常用的象征物之一。蛋乃意味着春天的到来及新生命的诞生，并象征着耶稣从死里复活走出石墓。
Easter eggs are special eggs that are often given to celebrate Easter or
springtime.The egg is apagan symbol of the rebirth of the Earth in celebrations
of spring and was adopted by early Christians as a symbol of the resurrection
of Jesus.
百合花
百合花象征神圣与纯洁。人们喜爱以在春天、复活节左右盛开的百合花来代表耶稣基督的圣洁。另外，形状像喇叭的百合花，也像是正大声宣扬耶稣基督复活的好消息。
Lily stands for the holiness and purity. Flowers blooming near the Easter
Day seem to tell us the good news that Jesus has resurrected from the death.
复活节钟声
在法国及意大利，除了受难节的前一天起一连四天，复活节钟声全年随处可闻，没有钟声是要提醒我们耶稣的死， 钟声在复活节主日会重鸣，提醒我们耶稣基督已复活。
Easter bell can be heared everywhere throughout the year except Good Friday
and 3 days afterwards, on the Easter Day, the bell can be reheared, symbolizing
that Jesus has resurrected from the death.
